Department Description

The Town Clerk is responsible for the following tasks:
  • Maintains all documents necessary for the effective administration and operation of municipal government
  • Provides support to the Mayor and Town Council
  • Aids in the delivery of effective government service
Additionally, the Town Clerk facilitates municipal elections in accordance with statutory requirements and serves internal and external customers in an impartial, confidential, efficient, trustworthy and friendly manner.

PROCESS SERVERS: Effective Wednesday, April 1, 2020, due to COVID-19, Town staff is working from home. The Town Clerk will accept legal service of process by appointment only. The Town Clerk will continue to accept all legal filings in accordance with applicable law.

RULE 4.1(h), the Town Clerk can only accept service of process for the Town of Fountain Hills. For service upon an individual, please consult with an attorney and the rules of civil and criminal procedure.
