COVID-19 Court Announcement
As the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation has been declared an emergency health crisis, we are taking precautions and prioritizing the health and wellness for all of our court visitors. In effort to limit visitors to the court, at this current time we are taking measures to reduce our in-court appearances to the greatest extent possible.
Fountain Hills Municipal Court will be continuing the following type of cases and hearings that are set between March 23, 2020 and May 1, 2020 to a new court date that will be sent to you.
- All Out of Custody Criminal Arraignments and Proceedings
- All Civil Traffic Cases (Arraignments and Hearings)
- All Jury Trials
The court will remain open for Orders of Protection, Injunctions Prohibiting Harassment and Injunctions Against Workplace Harassment and hearings, all In-Custody Hearings, and any essential hearings mandated by law to require in-person appearance or where remote appearance is not feasible.
The court continues to offer services, by email, online or telephone, to resolve your matters remotely:
- Defensive Driving Extensions
- Payments on a Case
- Records Requests
- Plea and Pay (Civil Only)
- Telephonic Criminal Pleas
- Protective Order Petition Filings at azpoint.azcourts.gov
The court also allows you to appear before a Judge through the use of Skype, Facetime, or telephone. You will need to contact the court at 480-816-5103 or email the court at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange for appearance. Please provide your name, case number, and contact information for Skype or Facetime.
If you need an extension to your payments, you can do so without coming into the court, by contacting us at 480-816-5103 or email the court at email@example.com.
