Turkey Trot 5K & Fitness Walk

A Thanksgiving Tradition


We are celebrating 28 years of trotting! Fountain Hills Community Services Department would like to invite residents and visitors to take part in the 28th Annual Turkey Trot. Join us on Thanksgiving morning for a great Fountain Hills tradition and get some exercise before you hit the mashed potatoes and gravy!

Registration will be open through November 15!


Participants can register in person at Fountain Hills Town Hall or Community Center or online at www.FHTurkeyTrot.com.

All registration forms and race fees will be due at sign up. Cash, checks, Visa, and MasterCard are accepted. We will be recognizing the top three finishers in the 5K in each age division for both men and women with Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals. Age divisions will be broken down to 10-year increments. 

Early packet pick up:


Early packet pick up will be offered for pre-registered participants on Wednesday, November 21 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Community Center. 13001 N La Montana Dr, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268.

Important:


No Bib. No Time. Participants must remember to bring their bib or they will not be timed on race day. All pre-registered participants will receive a commemorative Turkey Trot T-shirt. Can’t make it for early pick-up? Packets can be picked up on race day starting at 5:30 a.m. in the Community Center.

Are you a last minute turkey?


No problem, you can still register on site the morning of the race. Plan to arrive early so staff can be sure to get you signed up and ready to trot. All day-of-event registrations will receive T-shirts on a first-come, first-serve basis. Participants that register on-site are not guaranteed a T-shirt. For the safety of all participants, please leave your dogs at home. Races start promptly at 7:15 a.m..

Special Note: 

The start line for all distances will be on the Avenue of the Fountains in front of Town Hall. This year the race begins at 7:15 a.m. Happy Thanksgiving! Be sure to stick around for the Chamber of Commerce Thanksgiving Day Parade after the race.

Fees:


Registration (through November 15 at 6:00 p.m.)
5K – $25 per runner, $15 per runner 12 & under
1 Mile Fitness Walk – $15 per walker

Late Fees: Registration (starting November 16)
5K – $35 per runner, $20 per runner 12 & Under
1 Mile Fitness Walk – $20 per walker
